What is a visa sponsorship job?
A role at an employer willing to file the paperwork that lets a non-citizen work for it, such as an H-1B petition or the training plan STEM OPT requires. Most U.S. job boards don't say whether an employer sponsors; every listing on Avisa comes from an employer hiring candidates who need a visa.
Can I apply on OPT or STEM OPT?
Yes. OPT lets F-1 graduates work for any employer in their field, so the question is whether the employer will later sponsor an H-1B. STEM OPT also needs an employer enrolled in E-Verify that signs Form I-983. Filter by experience level to find internship and entry-level roles.
How does Avisa check that a job offers sponsorship?
Each posting is read for its sponsorship terms, and postings that rule out visa holders, such as "we do not sponsor" or "must be a U.S. citizen", are removed.
How often are new jobs added?
New roles arrive every day and old postings are taken down, so the list reflects who is hiring now.
What if I need a cap-exempt H-1B?
