In addition to working in the new Neurological Institute, caregivers in this role will have the opportunity to provide patient care in additional areas across Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. An Anesthesia Technician is responsible for supporting the anesthesiologist and other anesthesiology personnel. This includes the management and maintenance of the equipment used by anesthesiologists. The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for sterilizing, cleaning, assembling, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting various pieces of machinery. They may also oversee equipment monitoring a patient actively under anesthesia. **A caregiver in this position works evenings from 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. with on-call requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: - Stock the carts and surgical suites with the required supplies as outlined on the anesthesia surgical suite stock par list. - Assist with difficult airway management by assisting with equipment needs from the providers. - Assist in the delivery of blood samples to the lab and retrieval of blood products
