The Research Assistant will work with Kevin Wagner's research group to conduct research on planetary systems, including processing JWST and/or LBTI data on young and/or nearby systems. Specific tasks will include PSF modeling and subtraction, reference differential imaging, and extraction of astrophysical quantities through forward modeling. Tasks may also include theoretical modeling in comparison to observations. Experience with high contrast imaging, specifically of systems with imaged disks and planets, is desired. Duties & Responsibilities Under supervision and detailed instructions, utilize software and theoretical tools to facilitate research activities, including data cleaning and coding, algorithm testing
