To learn more about UC Irvine, visit www.uci.edu. This recruitment is for a Temporary Transportation Maintenance Worker in Irvine. Work schedule is **Monday - Friday, 5am - 1pm**. Responsibilities: Job duties include, but are not limited to: - Perform maintenance and cleaning of parking structures, parking lots, transportation facilities, kiosks, mailboxes, and departmental buildings to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. - Support transportation infrastructure maintenance, including asphalt repairs, parking stall markings, wayfinding signage, and electric vehicle charging stations. - Assist with maintenance and repair of departmental vehicles, electric carts, traffic signals, and other parking and transportation equipment. - Complete work orders, operate specialized maintenance and cleaning equipment, and perform general labor tasks in support of Transportation & Distribution Services operations. Qualifications: **Required:** - Valid California Driver License and ability to safely work around moving vehicles in parking lots, roadways, and transportation facilities. - Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, climbing stairs, lifting over 50 pounds, and operating maintenance equipment. - Knowledge of safe cleaning methods, proper handling of cleaning chemicals, and basic maintenance practices. -
