The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.* Position Summary Reporting to the Director of the Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, the Department Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing and carrying out the Institute's financial, human resources and facilities operations as well as emergency response plan. A key member of the Institute's leadership team, the DA is responsible for managing and advising the Institute faculty Director, faculty Co-Directors and Director of Strategic Management, and Executive Leadership Team on fiscal matters and administrative policies related to personnel, facilities, cores and other matters. In collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, the DA will direct the department's overall operations, financial planning and accounting practices, maintain financial management tracking, reporting, and control systems, plan and monitor departmental expenditures, and oversee compliance with the policies, procedures and regulations of the University/affiliated organizations and external funding agencies.
