The Academic Advisor advises undergraduate students served by Center for Academic Advising in the College (CAAC) at UCLA regarding academic requirements and options. CAAC is part of the Division of Undergraduate Education within the UCLA College and provides academic advising and related programs and services to approximately 21,000 undergraduates. Major responsibilities of the Academic Advisor in addition to academic advising include: participate in the development, administration and evaluation of all programs under the jurisdiction of CAAC and College Academic Counseling; participate in outreach activities, and evaluate student petitions and determine decisions. This position requires maintaining a regular schedule and on-time attendance. This position reports to the CAAC Director of Advising Staff and Administration. **Salary & Compensation** \\*UCLA provides a full pay range. (Required) - Detailed knowledge of University and College degree requirements, academic policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, along with campus and community resources that support student success (Preferred) - Skill in independently managing multiple projects and responsibilities, establishing priorities based on organizational needs and deadlines, and following through on assignments with minimal supervision. (Required) - Demonstrated skill in problem solving and generating alternatives in order to improve operational processe
