**Job Summary** #CA-SS The Educational Technologist is a technical, systems-oriented, and service-focused role that supports the educational mission of the UC Davis School of Medicine through administration of the School’s Learning Management System (LMS), comprehensive support of educational technologies used at the school, evaluation and research efforts, and application of burgeoning AI tools and technologies. A vital member of the Instructional Design, Evaluation, Assessment, and Scholarship (IDEAS) team, the incumbent serves as the primary administrator and support resource for VidaNova, the School of Medicine’s Moodle-based LMS, and as the primary support contact for Panopto, the School’s video capture and distribution platform. In addition, the Educational Technologist supports a portfolio of educational technology tools used for teaching, learning, assessment, and evaluation (including MedHub, ExamSoft, Zoom, and iClicker); produces evaluation and assessment reports; applies AI tools to enhance analysis and workflows; and provides general technical and project support to the IDEAS unit. While the role supports medical education, its focus is on technology administration, data, analytics, and user support, requiring strong technical expertise, communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset. **Apply By Date July 10, 2026 at 11:59PM; Interviews and recruiting process may occur at any time.** **Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position** - Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, information science, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - 1-3 Years Learning Management System (LMS) Administration Experience - Demonstrated experience administering or supporting a learning management system, preferably Moodle or a Moodle-based platform. - Experience supporting educational techn
