## **Summary** The Department of Pathology & Immunology and Molecular & Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine, in partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital, is seeking a Coordinator, Business Operations to support our research faculty and teams. The Coordinator, Business Operations plays a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative operations, coordinating calendars and meetings, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with a variety of operational tasks. This position helps ensure a smooth workflow across research programs and contributes to keeping teams organized, efficient, and productive. ## **Job Duties** - Provides general administrative and operational support to Faculty and Staff. - Manages calendars and schedule meetings, including coordinating logistics and preparing materials. - Monitors and reconciles departmental and faculty accounts to track expenses accurately. - Processes travel requests, expense reports, and financial transactions in accordance with institutional guidelines. - Submits and track purchase orders in Jaggaer to ensure timely procurement . - Assists with special projects, tracking tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion. - Maintains accurate and organized records and documentation. - Serves as a point of contact for routine questions and communications. - Performs other related duties as assigned. ## **Minimum Qualifications** - High School diploma or GED. - Two years of relevant experience. ## **Preferred Qualifications** - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Experience using Jaggaer and Concur. **Work Authorization Requirement:** **This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.** Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
