**Job Title:** Financial Analyst **Department**: Revenue Integrity **Location:** Hybrid (Onsite & Remote), Riedman Campus, 100 Kings Highway, Rochester NY 14617 **Hours Per Week:**40 **Schedule:** Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday, (8 am -4:30 pm) **Position Summary:** Extrapolates data from multiple sources, organizes, analyzes, and presents to requestors based on the business need identified. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collects and studies data to determine costs of business activities - Analyzes financial data and extracts and defines relevant information - Interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability - Performs moderately complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data - Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis - Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. - Interprets financial transactions and events for users who make business decisions. - Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for compliance with government and private agencies. - Uses various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate, and/or format data and/or reports. - Acts as backup to MMIS Application Specialist and performs related functions as needed. - Performs other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications:** - BS in Business, Finance, or Information Systems, or a combination of education and relevant work experience - Zero to five years relevant work experience - Crystal Report Writing - Proficient analytical skills with knowledge of financial and accounting concepts - Demonstrated understanding of operational statistics, both qualitative and quantitative - Proficient Microsoft Office Skills: Excel, Access, Power Point, etc - PMM Software and reporting tools, desired
