This position is ideally suited for a candidate with a strong background in epigenetics, chromatin biology, vascular biology, or molecular cardiopulmonary research. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary research team and contribute to projects aimed at uncovering novel molecular mechanisms underlying pulmonary hypertension, cardiac remodeling, and other lung vascular pathologies. Our work integrates basic and translational science with the goal of identifying therapeutic targets. Technical Duties: (include any protocols) Design and conduct molecular and cellular experiments focused on cardiopulmonary disease mechanisms using Primary cell cultures (e.g., endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells), Animal models of vascular and cardiopulmonary disease, Human tissue samples, where applicable, drug screening, and Gene Therapy. - Apply next-generation sequencing (NGS) techniques, including: ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, CUT&RUN, RNA-seq, and single-cell omics - Perform multi-omics data analysis, including epigenomic and transcriptomic profiling. - Interpret and present research findings in lab meetings, seminars, and at national/international scientific conferences. - Prepare and submit manuscripts to high-impact, peer-reviewed journals. - Contribute to the preparation of research grant proposals and progress reports.
