Responsibilities: Job duties include, but are not limited to: - Coordinate academic personnel activities including recruitment, appointments, merit increases, promotions, benefits, sabbaticals, and compensation actions. - Support employee and labor relations matters, including grievances, layoffs, union-related issues, and policy interpretation. - Manage staff HR processes, training and development activities, and time and leave reporting while ensuring compliance with departmental and university requirements. - Analyze personnel issues, prepare recommendations, maintain accurate records, and provide guidance on academic personnel policies and procedures. Qualifications: **Required:** - Experience supporting academic personnel, human resources, employee relations, or administrative operations in a complex organization. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information, identify trends, and develop logical recommendations. - Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage a high-volume workload effectively. - Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
