Additionally, this person will provide assistance with the maintenance and repairs of the buildings Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. The individual may work independently or as part of a team to accomplish department objectives. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 1. Perform various Preventive and Corrective Maintenance tasks to maintain and repair HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and systems. This includes mechanical, electrical, controls, and pneumatic components. 2. Apply analytical and manual skills in inspecting, maintaining, installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing air handler systems, rooftop units, fan coil units, VAV and CAV boxes, fans, motors, pumps, compressors, thermostats, icemakers, and walk-in coolers and freezers. 3. Conserve, install, and recycle CFC and HCFC refrigerants. 4. Proficient ability to use the Building Automation System to maintain an appropriate environment for patients and staff. 5.
