The Data Center Operations (DCO) team is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of DCO-managed sites, their facility components, physical security, and other data center services related to these locations. Responsibilities: Under the close supervision of the Supervisor, Production and Data Center Operations, the Data Center Technician applies basic IT professional concepts, working experience, OIT, UCI, and Data Center Operations policies/procedures to plan, troubleshoot, and execute a variety of low-complexity to moderately complex issues in the Data Center. Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Plans and executes device installations, colocation onboarding, facilitates and manages environmental monitoring, maintains inventory and capacity planning in our Sunbird Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tool for DC Ops-managed sites.
