Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: - Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in EPIC. - Assist providers with examinations, treatments, procedures, and patient education. - Perform clerical and administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating clinic workflows. - Support clinic operations by maintaining supplies, ensuring compliance with dress code and safety standards, and assisting with UC Learning and departmental requirements. Qualifications: **Required:** - Medical Assistant Diploma, Certificate of Competency, or equivalent Medical Assisting Clinical/Back Office certification. - Understanding of medical terminology and ability to perform essential clinical and administrative duties. - Current BLS certification from the AHA upon hire. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient populations. **Preferred:** - Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or outpatient care setting. - Phlebot
