**Job Summary** The Infrastructure Cabling Services (ICS) Communications and Technical Analyst IV provides senior level operational and technical support for UC Davis Health’s telecommunications infrastructure and low voltage systems. Working within a multidisciplinary team that includes Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDDs), DAS engineers, and operational technicians, the incumbent collaborates closely with engineering, construction, and operational stakeholders to ensure telecommunications infrastructure supports reliability, redundancy, scalability, maintainability, and code compliance within mission-critical healthcare environments. **Apply By Date** **: 6/19/2026 by 11:59pm** **Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position** - Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program - Minimum of five years’ verifiable experience in telecommunications structured cabling, Outside Plant (OSP), Telecomm pathways and spaces with strong knowledge of low-voltage cabling design and construction processes in healthcare environments. - Experience with network testing and troubleshooting tools and procedures, including twisted pair cabling, fiber optic systems, and LAN testing. - Knowledge of overhead paging systems including 25 volt, 70 volt, and IP-based paging. - Knowledge of CSI master format and creation of specifications for technology systems. - Working Knowledge of AutoCAD and Visio. - Strong ability to interpret and apply relevant codes and standards, including BICSI TDMM, TIA/EIA, California Building Code, NFPA, California Fire Code, and HCAI regulations, UCDH IT Standards. - Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work diplomatically across diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams
