**What You Will Do** This position will be filled at either the Engineering Technologist 1 or 2 level, depending on the skills of the selected candidate. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if the candidate is hired at the higher level. The Automation, Robotics, and Controls (E-3) group seeks a skilled individual with experience in the development and realization of electrical designs, including the creation of wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and component layouts. As part of E-3, you will provide critical support for engineering teams with expertise in electrical and controls applications. Your primary role will involve working with end users to design, fabricate, and deploy a wide variety of control and data acquisition systems to support the LANL mission. The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for creating, modifying, and managing electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams. Additionally, we are seeking a candidate who has demonstrated hands-on experience developing electrical drawing packages and completing the cycle of concept-prototype-final product fabrication/assembly.
