Using expertise in various Business Intelligence software, data structures, and programming along with critical thinking and ability to build business relationships, the Intermediate BI Developer, with minimal supervision, enables the organization to make data-driven decisions by converting data into dashboards and reports that are readily available and easy to interpret. The Intermediate BI Developer supports both their assigned business areas as well as the reporting tools that are required to accomplish the work. Must have experience in both oral and written communications, including presentations with the ability to demonstrate when and how to use the BI tools (including reports and self-service dashboards) to non-technical audiences. Intermediate BI Developers must exhibit initiative, and organizational skills, as well as possess the ability to inspire trust and confidence to maintain customer relationships. **Job Duties:** - Independently consults with stakeholders to gather project requirements and define scope on small to medium sized projects. - Collaborates with internal partners and organizations in the design and development of reporting solutions and routine analytic studies to support business needs. - Plans projects and request completion tasks. - Provides time and effort estimates based on requirements gathering. Experience independently managing projects with minimal supervision is also required. - Demonstrates working knowledge of relevant source systems needed to support primary stakeholders and proficiency with related databases/data marts within first year in role.
