**Job Title:** Data Architect **Department:** Clinical Applications and Program Management **Location:** Riedman Campus,100 Kings Highway Rochester, NY 14610-0757, (Onsite & Remote) **Hours Per Week:** 40 **Schedule:** Full-Time,Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm **POSITION SUMMARY:** As a Data Architect at Rochester Regional Health, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the data architecture that supports our healthcare initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Design and develop scalable data architectures that meet the current and future needs of the organization. - Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models. - Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions. - Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. - Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve data architecture and governance practices. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** - Master's degree preferred. - Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). - Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark). - Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau). Proven experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare data standards and regulations. - Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and SQL. - Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL, data warehousing, data lakes). -
