**What You Will Do** The Medical Countermeasures (MCM) Team in the Physical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy (C-PCS) group within Chemistry Division is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in immunology or immune engineering to support ongoing projects in diagnostics development and next-generation vaccine platforms. The successful candidate will lead experimental design and execution of in vitro immunological studies, contribute mechanistic insights into innate and adaptive immune responses, and help translate immune profiling data into actionable diagnostic and vaccine strategies. The postdoc is expected to work independently while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams spanning chemistry, nanotechnology, bioengineering, and computational modeling. The postdoc will act as a representative for the team by attending group and team meetings. They will be responsible for reporting research results back to the team at weekly meetings and keeping official laboratory notebooks. In addition, the postdoc will be encouraged to attend seminars that interest them and will be given networking opportunities within the laboratory. They will also be expected to present their work at conferences and to sponsors. #chemistry, #c-pcs, #chempostdoc You may obtain information about pay structure, expectations, and other postdoc opportunities on the LANL website: https://www.lanl.gov/careers/career-options/postdoctoral-research/index.php **What You Need** **Minimum Job Requirements:** - Research areas of interest/focus in immunology, immune engineering, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, or related fields. - Demonstrated experience in immune cell (co)-culture, in vitro immunization assays, immunoassays, flow cytometry, protein analysis, transcriptomics, etc. - Demonstrated expertise in immune cell (macrophages, dendritic cells, T/B cells) biology, signaling pathways, cytokine profiling, etc. - Willingness to work with potentially hazardous
