**IT Business Systems Analyst III** The Business Systems Analyst’s role is to plan, design, and launch efficient finance and enterprise data systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data, translating financial and operational data requirements into data warehouse solutions, and documenting business processes and requirements. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for investigating application issues and generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments, with a focus on data integrity, financial reporting accuracy, and data warehouse delivery. **Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions** - Lead requirements and business process definition sessions with Finance stakeholders (Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Reporting); work with business leaders and decision makers to acquire approval for requirements and business process documentation related to financial data flows and reporting needs. - Create system design proposals and systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to data warehouse developers, BI engineers, and quality assurance staff. This includes data flow diagrams, dimensional models, and ETL/ELT pipeline specifications. - Lead application issue investigations, document probable causes and recommendations for resolution. - Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements, analysis and design efforts in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
