An instrumentation systems engineer works closely with a cross-functional team of hardware and software design engineers to drive ADI’s strategy for precision test and measurement systems, identify optimal system-level solutions, and influence new product definitions that enable world class solutions. **Responsibilities include, but not limited to:** - Hands on characterization and bring up of hardware and firmware components. - Utilize lab equipment such multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and spectrum analyzers, to gather data on new hardware designs. - Based on data gathered, drive schematic or firmware changes to improve performance - Document performance and procedures to enable other users to utilize designs. - Work directly with customers to understand their requirements for next generation systems and incorporate these requirements into new, industry leading, hardware and software solutions **Minimum qualifications:** - BSEE or BSCS degree program - Experience with C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, Labview, Python - Solid background in analog, digital and mixed signal circuits - Desire to work on complex hardware and software problems at both a theore
