**What You Will Do** The Associate Laboratory Directorate for Plutonium Infrastructure (ALDPI) is currently seeking a motivated undergraduate student for challenging, paid internship opportunities. Our internship program provides mentoring, hands-on technical experience, and professional development opportunities through a formalized work plan that complements the student's chosen field of study. We are seeking an individual who is available to work year-round. During the academic school year, students may work part-time while attending classes, with the opportunity to transition to full-time hours during school breaks and summer periods. This position offers valuable real-world experience in a dynamic and professional environment. **What You Need** **Minimum Job Requirements:** - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy coupled with outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Capacity to work on multiple fast-paced projects and deliver to deadlines. - Experience working effectively as part of a team with a willingness to assist and support other team members as needed; with the ability to work independently. - Proficient in the use of standard office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. - Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by experience in the preparation and formatting of correspondence, reports, and presentations. - Demonstrated excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and time management skills. - Ability to uphold the Laboratory's mission, vision, culture, and values. **Desired Qualifications:** - Currently enrolled (12 semester credit hours or full-time equivalent) in an accredited undergraduate degree-granting program (or international equivalent); - Must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent). - Entering first-year students must provide documentation indicating matriculation
