This position emphasizes user experience design, collaborative wireframing, accessibility-first development, and WordPress CMS customization. Works within a multidisciplinary team to translate stakeholder needs into intuitive digital experiences that align with University and College branding standards. Collaborates with developers, designers, faculty, and communications staff to prototype, test, and implement scalable web solutions. This position is time-limited and soft-funded. **User Experience Design and Front-End Architecture** - Lead user experience planning and interface design for College websites and web applications. - Facilitate stakeholder discovery sessions to translate programmatic and research needs into wireframes, user flows, and functional specifications. - Create collaborative wireframes and prototypes for use by full-stack developers, designers, and project stakeholders. - Conduct usability evaluations and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements. - Ensure all designs meet WCAG AA accessibility standards and follow usability best practices. - Develop and maintain front-end architecture within WordPress CMS, including creation and maintenance of child themes to support scalable, maintainable, and brand-aligned digital properties. - Promote accessibility-first
