About the Hiring Group RTI’s Center for Data Interoperability is seeking a bachelor’s-level Spatial Epidemiologist with experience in geographic and spatial analyses focused on place-based health factors. The Center conducts contract and grant funded work in chronic and infectious disease, public health, community vulnerability, environmental health risks, and more. The successful applicant will play a role in the application of a variety of geographic, epidemiologic, economic, and health policy research methods in support of projects that engage with substance use disorder, environmental health risks and hazards, and spatial methodologies. This position offers significant professional development opportunities with a leading research organization. What You'll Do - Compile and analyze data from the U.S. Census Bureau, including the American Community Survey and Public Use Microdata Sample. - Code, clean, and manage datasets using statistical software, including R and Python. - Support analyses of spatial data, including creating, cleaning and maintaining data in a geographic information system (GIS), and implementing spatial analyses and modeling. - Imple
