The IT Senior Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data, reporting results and indirect oversight of team members and their projects across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Creates timely and actionable data insights that create awareness and provide decision support to lead process improvement efforts to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities: A day in the life of an IT Senior Data Analyst with Hackensack Meridian Health includes: - Provides leadership and mentoring for projects and data analysts. - Serves as the organization-wide content expert on clinical measurement/analysis methods and imparts relevant details to senior leaders and quality team members. Continually expands/updates this knowledge. - Understands and communicates the business impacts of data findings. - Identifies data problems, assists in researching solutions, and recommending corrective actions to achieve higher levels of integrity and efficiency - Oversees individual data projects from start to finish. - Writes queries for research and other requests. - Provides expertise and translates the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization. - Creates interactive and actionable reports of performance including deviations and anomalies. - Meets with end users to gather data analysis requirements to deliver accurate results. - Liaises with business leaders to explain the possibilities and l
