Requisition Id 16359 **Level: TP03** **Overview:** The Web Services Group in the Information Technology Services Directorate at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is hiring a WordPress developer to advance ORNL’s mission and support Department of Energy partner organizations! ORNL is the largest of 17 US DOE science and energy laboratories conducting basic and applied research to deliver transformative solutions to compelling problems in energy and security. **Major Duties/Responsibilities:** Typical projects to be supported range from marketing sites to complex, data-driven websites for a large enterprise environment (7000+ employees). - Ability to work on multiple sites and with multiple customers over a sprint. - Ability to work independently while managing time effectively. - Ability to work under tight deadlines and switch quickly and comfortably between projects. - Understanding of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through production implementation. - Be a contributing and supportive member of the WordPress team. - Monitor and fix performance and platform related bugs as they emerge. - Play an active role in creating standard solutions, CI/CD strategy, and maintaining related infrastructure processes for the organization. - Deliver ORNL’s mission by aligning behaviors, priorities, and interactions with our core values of Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service.
