The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.* Position Summary The Coordinator is part of a team of professional staff who provide administrative and programmatic support to Law School faculty and researchers. Coordinators facilitate the teaching, scholarship, and service of full-time faculty, and support the activities of affiliated research centers and programs. Responsibilities - Support multiple professors of law, research scholars, and/or visiting professors in preparing and executing their courses and seminars, including compiling and organizing course materials; editing syllabi and updating course websites (using CourseWorks); communicating with students; and interfacing with teaching assistants.Schedules meetings, TA sessions, and makeup classes;and receives visitors. - Plans and coordinates events and programs (such as academic seminars, colloquia, special events, and conferences), arranging publicity, catering, travel arrangements, reimbursements and honoraria. - Arranges travel on behalf of faculty and visitors, plans itineraries and prepares travel and business expense reports for submission to the Business Office via Concur. - Works with faculty, students, and Office of Judicial Clerkships to prepare and send clerkship and other letters of recommendation. - Acts as liaison between professors, fellows, guest speakers, students, scholars, and other academic institutions. - Performs basic legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis and
