## **Job Summary** Under close supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director, External Communications this internship is designed to expose the individual to all aspects of design, digital, and social media platforms, including game-day services, and fan engagement and enhancement for all UC Davis men's and women's Intercollegiate Athletic sports programs. **Apply By Date May 18, 2026 at 11:59pm PST** **Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position** - Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience in design, photography, and other multi-media platform segments. - Experience on Macintosh computers, although familiarity with both Mac OS and Windows is preferred. - Excellent writing, editing, typing, interpersonal and verbal communication skills. - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects. - Quick decision making and problem-solving skills. - Ability to interpret and manage brand standards. - Strong familiarity with the most common social media platforms. **Preferred Qualifications** - UC Davis graduate. **Key Responsibilities** - 85% - Communications and Media Relations - 15% - Record Keeping & Statistics **Department Overview** The UC Davis Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) in partnership with the Associated Students, University of California, Davis (ASUCD) has established a number of new full-time staff positions that will be referred to as, ICA & ASUCD Fellowships.
