MITRE is seeking an ambitious and motivated researcher to join MITRE’s Quantum Moonshot Project team. The candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in quantum optics and cryo-optical measurement. In this role, you will apply your technical experience in quantum physics to develop and test novel spin-photon interfaces, chip-based quantum photonic circuits, and quantum optical measurement systems. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with team members at our partner institutions (MIT, University of Colorado, and Sandia National Lab) to integrate generation, control, and measurement of photonic or matter quantum bits for the development of a photonic universal quantum computer.
