Responsibilities: **Position Summary:** The Lead Pharmacist in the inpatient pharmacy setting is responsible for leading inpatient pharmacy operations to support safe, efficient, and effective medication management. The Lead will be knowledgeable of all applicable pharmacy regulations, including but not limited to CA Board of Pharmacy, The Joint Commission, DEA, CDPH, CMS, and USP 795, 797, and 800 standards. This role will assist with planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of daily operations of the inpatient pharmacy. The incumbent will ensure efficient operations and is responsible for the implementation and daily management of cost control measures, drug utilization improvement and patient outcomes.
