The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.* Position Summary Under the general direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager and the General Dermatologist, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for the management of nursing patient care across two faculty practice sites including a hospital sponsored teaching clinic. In addition to the primary responsibilities within the division of General Dermatology, the clinical nurse will be expected to assist in other department divisions including Oncology Dermatology. Responsibilities **GENERAL DERMATOLOGY** Tasks include but are not limited to: coordinating patient care; assisting in all procedures; developing a nurse-patient/family relationship; and assessing and managing patients within all patient age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics. Perform diagnostic testing and analysis of results. The incumbent needs to be a meticulous recorder of patient information. Therefore, excellent interpersonal communication skills are a must, along with the ability to extract information during patient history interviews. The nurse must be able to carefully and easily explain a treatment and follow-up plan to patients. Other duties will include following up on laboratory and pathology results, answering pre- and post-procedural questions, answering questions relevant to patient treatment plans, ordering lab tests and medication under the guidance of the physician, gathering data, and acting as a liaison. - Ass
