## **Job Summary** Under general supervision of the Associate Vice Provost (AVP), and working in collaboration with the Director of Teaching (DoT), responsible for administration, coordination, management of instructional activities and records management. Manage day to day administrative issues; draft written correspondence and other documents; and independently respond to diverse inquiries and requests made to the Directors, AVP and the Writing Center (WC) and the program. Plan, revise, and implement instructor resources, courses and schedules. Advise and inform faculty and students on instructor resources, courses, and schedules. Serve as resource to personnel, search, and other WC ad hoc committees. Use the Integrated Curriculum Management System to add and change courses. Schedule courses, and review and revise copy for the Class Schedule and Registration Guide and General Catalog. Complete Desii editing. Process Summer Sessions and scheduling and coordinate events. Provide direct supervisory oversight of assigned staff. Responsibilities include recruitment and hiring; onboarding and training; assigning and scheduling work; approval of timecards; performance management and evaluation; and delivery of ongoing coaching and constructive feedback in accordance with UC Davis policies and applicable labor agreements. This position plans, revises, and implements instructor resources, courses, and schedules, and advises faculty and students on related matters. It serves as a resource for personnel, search, and other WC ad hoc committees. Using the Integrated Curriculum Management System, the role adds and updates courses, schedules classes, and reviews and revises copy for the Class Schedule and Registration Guide and the General Catalog.
