**What You Will Do** As a Deputy Group Leader (DGL) of the Dynamic Structure Design, Engineering, and Vessel Operations (J-2) Group, the selected candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams comprising of mechanical, chemical, and civil engineers, technicians, designers, and customers with diverse backgrounds in physics and high explosive operations. The DGL will be an essential member of the J-2 management team and provide overall leadership with an emphasis in helping coordinate and direct technical work and projects; and establishing, updating, and maintaining engineering policies and procedures following overall Conduct of Engineering guidance and processes. The DGL will additionally assist in directing operational teams and management of the group's various processes involving vessel assembly, decontamination, inspection and repair operations. ******What You Need**** **Minimum Job Requirements:**** ****Leadership** Demonstrated management and leadership of technical projects and of personnel with broad technical disciplines. Demonstrated experience in teaming, collaborations and integration across program lines to accomplish larger program and Group/Division goals. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated abilities to resolve conflict and to build consensus. Demonstrated experience in recruiting, evaluating, hiring, and mentoring staff. **Technical Background** Thorough knowledge and proven engineering ability in conducting research and/or development activities, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions to problems affecting research and development activities, projects, and/or initiatives. Experience in use and application of consensus standards (e. g. ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII, Divisions 1, 2, and 3, API 579 Fitness for Service code, AWS Welding Code, etc.). **Experience With Complex Engineering Design And Programs** Demonstrated experience implementing Conduct of Engine
