**What You Will Do** As the Deputy Division Leader for Occupational Health (OH) within ALDESHQ, you will serve as a key strategic partner to the Division Leader (OH-DO) and help shape the future of Occupational Health at the Laboratory. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for advancing the operational excellence, technical rigor, and organizational effectiveness of a division that directly supports the Laboratory's national security mission. - In this role, you will provide leadership, technical oversight, and management across all Occupational Health - services and programs. You will help ensure the seamless delivery of critical business functions that safeguard - workforce health, safety, and performance, including: - Hazard-based medical surveillance - Fitness-for-duty evaluations - Management of work-related injuries and illnesses - Restriction and accommodation oversight - Medical records governance - Workforce well-being initiatives Beyond operational execution, you will drive strategic improvement. A central focus of this role is the development and implementation of meaningful metrics and key performance indicators to enhance efficiency, inform decision-making, strengthen process improvement initiatives, and elevate the customer experience across the Laboratory. You will also partner closely with the Division Leader in stewarding organizational health and sustainability, including budget planning and fiscal oversight; strategic resource allocation; succession planning and employee engagement, recruitment and retention.
