**What You Will Do** The Procurement Engineering & Acquisition Management Group within the Supply Chain & Logistics (SCL) Division is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, and customer-focused Vendor Liaison Specialist to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will effectively and compliantly procure equipment and material in support of Plutonium Facility Maintenance activities. The selected candidate will also be responsible for data collection, schedule coordination and reporting on material readiness to the program manager, LANL senior managers and NNSA. This position is vital in ensuring that national security mission milestones are delivered on time and compliantly. This candidate will use independent judgment and initiative to prepare and review procurement related documents (i.e., specifications, quotations, and quality documents), and will comply with strict industry practices, policies, and procedures specifically relating to procurement and quality. The chosen candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team. They will conduct research and resolve complex material issues independently and collaboratively, ensuring milestones are delivered timely and compliantly.
