Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. **JOB DESCRIPTION:** The position provides Business Affairs Departments with Information Technology based support and application programming expertise. The position will be responsible for the development, deployment, reporting, and oversight of department server systems as well as assisting with the management and coordination of application system specifications. These applications and systems consist of multiple Building Automation System Servers, Campus Energy Analytics Software, Industrial Process Control Systems, GIS and various other department software packages. Responsible for assisting the IT Manager in efforts to create and maintain centralized UF IT security policies, standards, and procedures. The position will also be responsible for assisting department personal with enterprise risk assessments as they arise. Software Application and Hardware System Support - The position's responsibilities also include assisting the management and troubleshooting of various department servers and industrial control system applications. This includes ensuring all applications, databases, and operating systems are updated, patched and backed-up. The position will also serve as the department's backup point of contact between the department, application vendors, and the university's centralized Information Technology groups.
