## **Job Summary** The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (GI & Hepatology) is a research and patient care section in the Department of Internal Medicine. This position will support the growing clinical research projects of the GI/Hepatology Clinical Trials Unit. **The** **Clinical Research Coordinator** will perform essential functions of study implementation for multiple studies per protocol, including (but not limited to) recruitment, screening, enrollment, scheduling, conducting clinic visits, data collection, participant tracking, lab specimen collection and processing, drug accountability, monitor visits, study closeouts assisting with administrative requirements, essential study documents, and other tasks as assigned. Detailed written and oral communication required with patients, physicians, and research staff.
