Responsibilities: **Position Summary:** The Director, System Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) provides enterprise-wide leadership and governance for all Environmental Health & Safety, Environment of Care, regulatory, and life safety programs across UCI Health. The incumbent is accountable for the strategic direction, systemwide implementation, and performance oversight of comprehensive programs including fire and life safety, emergency management, workplace violence prevention, hazardous waste management, radiation safety, safe patient handling and injury prevention, and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) readiness. This role establishes systemwide standards, policies, and performance expectations to ensure regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and the safety of patients, visitors, and the workforce in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and UCI Health policies.
