In this role, you will contribute to grant review and project work, performing a variety of administrative tasks and supporting multiple initiatives while gaining exposure to key financial processes, operational workflows, and the Foundation’s grantmaking procedures. **A caregiver in this role works part-time from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Community West on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with half-day shifts at the Cleveland Leadership Center on Friday mornings.** ***This schedule totals 16 hours on-site, plus 4 hours at the Leadership Center, for a 20-hour workweek.*** A caregiver who excels in this role will: - Research, compile, tabulate, and analyze data and processes for a variety of administrative and departmental matters. - Assist department personnel in assigned administrative, planning, organizational, technical, and professional tasks. - Provide suggestions or recommendations with regard to department specific projects. - Prepare and present reports. - Draft policies and procedures. - Respond to requests for information. - Participate in staff grant review meetings and grantee site visits. - Conduct document verification and due diligence. - Assist staff with follow-up requests for additional materials from organizations. - Coordinate one Foundation-related event or initiative. - Collaborate with Grantmaking staff to design an internship-long project. - Research emerging trends in Community West’s grantmaking focus areas impacting non-profits and social services. - Connect and
