Columbia University Medical Center's Department of Pediatrics is a world leader in providing care for children. Our mission areas include Healthcare, Education and Research. We offer care for our patients in over 25 specialty areas as well as individualized care for complex cases. Our Residency, Fellowship and Graduate programs are among the best in the Nation. Our Clinical, Translational and Basic Science research features collaborations across specialties and stretches from the bench to bedside. We also have several active Clinical trials available to our patients. This position will support the department by providing research assistance to clinical and multiple ongoing research project with patients. All studies involve work with children and adolescents. Responsibilities - Duties and responsibilities: 1. Provide support and assistance to clinical and multiple ongoing research projects with patients 2. Support and assist with the initiation and execution of new protocols and projects 3. Keep records and test project results 4. File patient charts/data 5. Assist in the collection of samples for experimental or diagnostic purposes 6. Assist with eliciting information from patients and their families in accordance with structured interview procedures 7. Perform library and online literature research 8. Assist with the preparation of PowerPoint presen
