Visit UC Benefit package to discover benefits that start on day one, and UC Total Compensation Estimator to calculate the total compensation value with benefits. **Qualifications** - 1-3 years In the field of early childhood education (Preferred) - Ability to speak English to be understood by young children, staff and parents and as required for food preparation (Required) - Ability to read English text of children's stories (Required) - Ability to use kitchen utensils and appliances safely and appropriately for preparation of meals (Preferred) - Ability to understand and follow instructions regarding set-up and supervision of activities and preparation of food (Required) - Ability to relate to children ages two months to six years old as required for supervision of indoor and outdoor activities, toileting, meals, snacks and nap time (Required) - Ability to act quickly and appropriately in hazardous situations to prevent accidents and to provide first aid in emergency situations (Required) - Ability to direct classroom staff in overall program in the absence of Lead and Assistant Lead teachers (Required) - Ability to work cooperatively with other staff in total child care program (Required) - Skill in resolving conflict with children and ad
