About this Job: **General Summary of Position** MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital, the region’s largest acute rehab hospital, is seeking an **experienced nurse leader** to serve as Nursing Director for our **Spinal Cord Injury and Orthopedic** **Unit** within a leading **acute rehab** setting. This role provides **operational**oversight of a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. MNRN is responsible for treating some of the nation’s most complex restorative cases. If you are a strategic leader passionate about advancing patient care in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply. **Minimal Qualifications** **Education** - Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a nationally accredited program required - Master's degree in Nursing or health related field from a nationally accredited program preferred **Experience** - 5-7 years in Nursing or health related field from a Nationally accredited program required - 1-2 years of management and leadership experience preferred **Licenses and Certifications** - RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the District of Columbia required - CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required - Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit. - C-EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring from the National Certification Corporation (NCC) is required for Perinatal nurses (labor and delivery antepartum antenatal testing) within 12 mo
