The health plan Data & Analytics team is looking for two (2) highly skilled and experienced Data Scientists with strong engineering expertise to support a growing portfolio of data science and analytics incentives. Job Summary As part of an integrated technical team, these roles will focus on analyzing and interpreting complex data, developing and deploying analytic and predictive solutions, and translating insights into action that improves outcomes for our members. Data Scientists in this role are expected to be adaptable, self‑directed, and intellectually curious, with a strong drive to use data to shape decisions and deliver measurable impact. They will take ownership of ambiguous problems, proactively explore data to uncover insights, and independently design data and analytic solutions that delivery business value. While partnership with stakeholders across the organization is essential, success in this role requires the ability to work autonomously, ask the right questions, continuously learn new techniques, and translate analytical thinking into practical, high‑value solutions that improve outcomes for our members. Essential Functions - Develop predictive models using various statistical modeling techniques to identify patterns and trends in health care utilization, costs, and outcomes. - Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and validate model accuracy. - Demonstrate ability to write and deploy production level code for a variety of strategic data science use cases. - Perform rapid data profiling of internal and external data sources to determine quality and value to business questions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven recommendations to optimize health plan performance. - Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner. - Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and data science techniques to drive in
