Work closely with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience. **Role Overview** - Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and safety, while helping to maintain par levels of medical supplies - Complete rooming functions, reviewing allergies, medical records, and medication lists as required - Obtain vital signs, perform point-of-care tests, obtain blood specimens via venipuncture, and perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) according to established policies - Prepare patients for procedures, assemble appropriate supplies and equipment, and assist as directed by clinician **Key Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent - Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program and eligibility for relevant specialized certifications. - (Preferred) National Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or registration by a recognized credentialing body such as: - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants - Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National Healthcare Association - National C
