The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.* Position Summary The Faculty Practice Manager oversees the administrative operations of the Columbia Dental Faculty Practice for Oral Surgery. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and patient-centered operations across clinical, financial, and personnel functions. Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Practice Director, the Faculty Practice Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to: **Faculty Practice Operations** - Oversee daily faculty practice operations and supervise front-end and support staff. - Manage patient flow to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. - Manage and monitor provider schedules. - Address patient concerns and lead customer service improvement initiatives. - Explain patient treatment options, answering patient questions and oversee patient post-op surgery follow ups. - Ensure insurance eligibility verification, pre-certification, and pre-authorization of services. - Oversee check-in/check-out processes, cash management, and point-of-service collections. - Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements, including infection control and environmental safety. - Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies and procedures. - Analyze operational data to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities. - Manage facility operations, including equipment assessment, purchasing, and supply ordering. - Communicate effectively with patients, guardians, faculty, and staff
