This specialized role focuses on the procurement of **high-value capital equipment across clinical, research, and operational environments** , along with the **associated service, maintenance, and lifecycle agreements** required to support hospital and clinical operations and construction. Ensure all contracts meet regulatory requirements while aligning with the strategic growth **and standardization goals** of the health system. **Work Performed** **Strategic Sourcing & Capital Procurement** - Lead the sourcing and negotiation of high-value contracts for capital equipment across a broad range of categories, including specialized clinical technologies, imaging modalities (MRI, CT, PET), lab equipment, and other large-scale institutional assets. - Own the lifecycle sourcing strategy for capital equipment, including service agreements, uptime expectations, and total cost of ownership optimization. - Evaluate complex bids and proposals, making data-driven award decisions for major capital investments. - Participate in strategic planning to forecast market trends in medical construction, capital equipment and technology, supplier models, and service delivery structures. **Contract Management & Compliance** - Review, interpret, and redline complex legal language within vendor contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and risk mitigation. - Manage su
