This Health Physicist position provides RP instrumentation technical advice and support, customer service, troubleshooting, type testing, and collaboration with the RP instrumentation manufacturers in the development or improvement of instrumentation. A Health Physicist 1 will participate in the development of technical basis documentation and procedures, operating parameters, and capabilities for radiation protection instrumentation. Program Health Physicists provide technical and professional guidance to the Radiation Protection Division and work with team members and customers on significant, unique, or complex issues with new and existing radiation protection instrumentation and measurement needs.
