# **Associate - Guest Relations - West Hospital** ## **Job Description** **Overview** **Schedule:** Full Time Day Shift (10:00am – 6:30pm, Monday-Friday. No expected weekends. Will need to cover some holidays.) **Work Location:** West Hospital (On-Site) **Department Supported:** Patient Experience **Primary Responsibilities:** Sets the tone for an exceptional experience by welcoming all guests to our organization in a friendly, helpful manner. Serves as an information resource by answering questions, providing accurate up-to-date information and giving directions to areas within the hospital and any adjoining medical facilities. Responsible for being a culture champion by embracing and demonstrating the mission and vision of the organization. Requires a concierge level customer service attitude. Other Responsibilities: - Wayfinding, feedback loop, communications (desk phone), complaint intake, directing people during time of emergency. - Position requires team member to sit, stand, ability to lift and carry, and assist patients in wheelchairs **Required:** - High School Diploma/GED required. **Preferred:** - Previous concierge level customer service experience preferred. - Previous healthcare experience involving patient/public contact preferred. - Preferred skills in computer software (Teams, Outlook), phone etiquette, customer service. **Benchmarks:** - **3 Months - Knowledgeable of all software required for the role (Teams, Outlook, Cerner, Microsoft Word, Excel), knowledgeable of the building layout.** - **6 months - can work independently with minimal help** - **12 months – can independently execute all position requirements, knows how to utilize resources for problem solving, is capable of training new team members** We are an equal opportunity employer.
