Responsibilities: **Position Summary:** The Transplant Financial Coordinator assists transplant patients with financially planning for their transplant surgery and future medical needs as well as assuring billing compliance. Incumbent will assess the patient’s detailed insurance benefit information, advise patient regarding insurance issues and completes a financial review with patients and family members during the initial evaluation. Serves as a resource for patients and family members on financial matters throughout the transplant/donation process. Functions as a member of the Patient Selection Committee by providing up-to-date and accurate input regarding each patient’s financial clearance.
