Job Description The Senior Business Intelligence Specialist designs and delivers dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that support data‑driven decision‑making across Northwell Health. This role focuses primarily on modern BI tool development while applying Epic analytics knowledge to support clinical and operational reporting needs. The role provides expertise on data analysis, identification of data sources, and modification of data architecture as necessary. In collaboration with business stakeholders, designs and develops custom Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, metrics and reports. Plans, conducts, and guides the analysis of business intelligence initiatives Job Responsibility - Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker and other enterprise BI tools - Partner with business, clinical, and operational stakeholders to translate reporting needs into BI solutions - Develop and optimize SQL queries to support analytics and reporting - Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting issues - Support Epic‑based analytics initiatives as needed - Guides the design, development and analysis to produce dashboards, metrics, or insights and identify trends or anomalies. - Consults with decision makers to identify data sources, required data elements, or data validation standards. - Ensures collaboration with development teams to design business intelligence solutions to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval. - Ensures collaboration with end users in the design and development of custom dashboards, metrics, and reports. - Guides the analysis and evaluation of end users reporting needs and translates business requirements into detailed technical design and programming specifications. - Conducts data analysis in support of resolution of production issues. - Coordinates with other IT groups a
